Lundbeck confirm Gold Sponsorship of the Winter Workshop in Psychoses 2009, and Prof Amir Kalali from Quintiles agrees to chair the PharmaTechnology Fair.

The Winter Workshop Organisational Secretariat is pleased to announce that Lundbeck have confirmed Gold Sponsorship of the conference in 2009.

"This is excellent news for the conference" stated Russ Pendleton, Conference Director. He went on to say: "the Winter Workshop in Psychoses Conference 2009 is gathering momentum at a fast pace. We now have an extensive International Scientific Advisory Panel who have all committed to contributing to the conference, and corporate sponsorship is now beginning to catch up."

The Organising Secretariat is also extremely pleased to announce that Prof Amir Kalali of Quintiles has agreed to chair the PharmaTechnology Fair which will be taking place simultaneously at the Winter Workshop. The PharmaTechnology Fair offers companies the opportunity to demonstrate their scientific expertise at early stages of development - for example, what technology was employed to develop new formulations of compounds, or what mode of action theory went behind the development of a new treatment. It also offers Clinical Research Organisations the opportunity to demonstrate their expertise.

The PharmaTechnology Fair gives companies the opportunity to interact with each other and with clinical researchers.
