I am thrilled to welcome you to this exciting new Winter Workshop format and am keen to progress the conference content. We have invited many world renowned speakers and many have already agreed to speak, however we also want to encourage young researchers to propose their talks so the conference retains its dynamism and constant interaction between new and old. Please submit your abstracts and we will review them as quickly as possible.

I strongly believe that Innsbruck will work as a new venue – the conference centre is absolutely perfect and the attractions of Innsbruck are many including access to the nearest cable car – only 20 metres from the door of the conference centre. Innsbruck is a university town and although the programme will include sessions of some sort all day, the main scientific sessions will be in the morning and late afternoon.
